Hotel Frisco Named Best Place to Stay in Summit County

Summit Daily News Readers Proclaim Hotel in Downtown Frisco Tops;

Fall Getaway Packages Available Through Nov. 21

Frisco, Colo. – Oct. 14, 2003 – The Hotel Frisco, located on Main St. in historic downtown Frisco, was voted the best place to stay in Summit County in the “Best of Summit 2003” poll published August 30, 2003 in the Summit Daily News. In the annual poll, readers select the best businesses in Summit County in a variety of categories. This year’s “Best of Summit Stay/Lodging” award went to the Hotel Frisco, which beat out several prestigious Summit County resorts for top honors.

Hotel Frisco owner Mark Waldmen says that the hotel’s smaller size, comfort, and personalized service appeals to tourists and locals alike.

“We’re flattered that Summit Daily News readers selected us,” says Waldmen. “We’ve worked hard to make the Hotel Frisco truly unique and inviting, and it looks like the effort has paid off.”

The Hotel Frisco is centrally located in Summit County, with easy access to ski areas, Lake Dillon, and a variety of mountain activities. The hotel recently added a 600 square-foot meeting room for corporate retreats, business meetings, wedding rehearsals and other group uses, as well as a new deluxe king suite featuring rustic-style furniture, a large Jacuzzi tub and a private entrance leading to the hotel's outdoor hot tub.

The hotel also offers a two-room suite and 11 other rooms (single king/queen or double queen). All rooms feature down comforters, fine linens, private bath, cable television, telephones with data jacks, hair dryers, and wireless high-speed Internet throughout the hotel.

The Hotel Frisco is offering the following “fall getaway” packages through Nov. 21, 2003:

· Spa Package – One night in a king or queen room for two people and “An Escape on a Journey for Two”: a candle-lit, aromatic mineral bath for two and two one-hour massages. Rate:
$265/night.

· Dinner Package – One night in a king or queen room for two people and dinner for two at Tuscato’s or Ti Amo’s, two fine Italian restaurants in Frisco. Dinner includes one appetizer, two entrees and one desert. Rate: $109/night.
