Hotel Frisco’s New Meeting Room a Hit for Corporate Retreats, Meetings
Local, Front Range and Out-of-state Companies Booking Room Steadily Since July
Frisco, Colo. – Nov. 4, 2003 – The Hotel Frisco, located on Main St. in historic downtown Frisco, opened its 600 square-foot “Aspen Room” for corporate retreats, business meetings, wedding rehearsals, and other uses in July. Since then, the room has hosted a steady stream of business meetings and events for a variety of local, Front-range and out-of-state organizations – even the Frisco City Council has held meetings there.
“The meeting room has been a hit with small to mid-sized groups looking for a great meeting space in the mountains,” says Hotel Frisco Owner Mark Waldmen. “We’re able to offer a professional meeting environment with the comfort and service of a smaller, boutique inn.”
Delynn Copley, president of the Copley Group, a Superior-based consulting firm specializing in personal development, says that the executive training they held at the Hotel Frisco in September was a huge success.
“Our group needed a retreat setting that was more intimate and relaxed than the huge mountain mega-resorts,” says Copley. “The Aspen Room and hotel rooms are wonderful, and Mark and his staff really went out of their way to take care of us.”
The Aspen Room comfortably accommodates up to 40 guests for sit-down receptions, 25 attendees for executive retreats, and 20 attendees for formal board meetings. The room is equipped with state of the art lighting, wireless networking to the Internet, speakerphones, and high-performance projection equipment.
To accommodate meeting attendees, the hotel features a new King Suite, a two-room suite and 11 rooms (single King/Queen or double queen). All rooms are available for block bookings for meetings and conferences, and feature down comforters, fine linens, private bath, cable television, telephones with data jacks, hair dryers, and wireless high-speed Internet throughout the hotel.
